Kylian Mbappe has accused the president of the French Football Federation (FFF) Noel Le Graet of disrespecting midfielder Zinedine Zidane.

Le Graet said he had not spoken to Zidane about replacing Didier Deschamps at the helm of the national team, as the French coach signed a contract extension despite rumors that he would leave after the 2022 World Cup. Le Graet told RMC Sport:

Did Zidane try to contact me? Of course not, I wouldn't even have answered the phone anyway." He added: "I have never met him, we never thought of leaving Didier.]

" Mbappe took to Twitter to express his shock at the FFF president's comments, writing on Twitter: "Zidane is France, we don't disrespect the legend like that..."
